1992 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1997 FORD E-150 ECONOLINE VAN WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE - NO RESERVE!! Crown River Wheelchair Lift Automatic Transmission 5.4 L V8 Previously Privately Owned Handicap Accessible Van Freedom Edition Conversion Rotating / Accessible Passenger Chair Wheel Chair Lift NEEDS WORK Low Mileage No Reserve Auction! 85+ Pictures High Res Pictures -- Please allow time to load! Vehicle Description: This is a 7-Day NO RESERVE auction for a 1997 Ford E150 Econoline Wheelchair Handicap Van! HIGH BIDDER WINS! Wheel Chair Lift! Swivel / Rotating Passenger Seat! Check out the pictures! Thank you for checking out my auction - please take the time to read the full description below and carefully examine the high resolution pictures. I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. Check out this 1997 Ford E-150 Econoline Van that is equipped with a River Creek Wheel Chair Lift. The Wheel Chair lift is currently NOT operational - I do not know why - it may be super easy to fix, it might not be. It does not appear to have power, nothing happens no matter what button I have pressed. I have not investigated it further. This vehicle was previously privately owned -- after purchasing this vehicle I have driven it about 20 miles since. This van is equipped with options like power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, and front/rear climate control. The front passenger seat swivels to allow easier access from the back. Mechanically, this E150 is in average condition. The engine runs smooth and is strong. There is a very slight tapping noise, that is more noticeable on cold start ups but gets quieter. I cannot hear it from inside the van, only outside. To me, it sounds very normal for these vans and would not concern me but it is worth noting because I do not want any surprises - please see videos below. The transmission shifts good and goes through all the gears. The brakes stop the van straight and well. This van is equipped with factory cruise control and it works like it should. While driving the suspension components appears to be in overall good shape, with no noticeable clunking or noises. The steering appears to be in good working condition and the van drives straight. Exhaust is good and quiet, although the rear exhaust hangar has broken and is being held up (securely) with a small chain. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this E150 has been sitting. While driving, the transmission shifts smooth and goes into all gears. There is a slight wheel bearing or tire noise at 45+ MPH. There is a slight vibration above 70 MPH (feels like tire balance) and very slight vibration on de-acceleration from higher speeds but otherwise this van drives very smooth. Pretty typical stuff for a van this old. The tires are mismatched, a pair of 235/75/15 BFG tires up front and two mismatched 215/70/15 tires in the rear. All have some tread remaining, the front two tires have a very minimal amount of weather cracking. The climate control works and this E150 blows air wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc - front and rear), and all power settings. The heat appears to be working but the A/C is not operational (I haven't tried to charge it). This E150 is equipped with a factory AM/FM/Cassette audio system - radio works great, haven't tested the cassette player. There have been no warning lights illuminated during my ownership. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. This van has power windows and locks that work well including keyless entry. Overall, this vehicle drives good and I wouldn't have an issue driving it a reasonable distance home. Cosmetically -- this van is in average condition with no significant body damage. There is rust along the bottom and in various spots of the vehicle - pretty average condition for a 21 year old van in the Great Lakes region. The paint is faded in the left front of the van and along the running boards. Speaking of the running boards, there are some cracks in them and they are not as structurally sound as they probably once were, although it did hold me and I'm not a small person. The van has been sitting outside for a bit and has not been detailed, a strong cleaning would really help it out. I've tried to capture the imperfections in the high resolution pictures below, please inspect them carefully. All of the doors open and close without problems, and the door panels are in good shape. The windshield and the rest of the glass is in good condition. The interior is cloth seats and carpeted floors. The seats & floors are in overall good condition, but would benefit from a deep cleaning (van has not been cleaned or detailed). The headliner is in clean condition. As previously mentioned, the wheelchair ramp and lift is not working - it does not have any power as far as I can tell. I'm not super familiar with this model lift, but the owners manual and dealer manual is included. Crown River has subsequently been purchased by Braun ability, so hopefully there is still decent support for this model. It is a pretty nifty lift because the gate folds up to allow access to the rear from the side doors. I have included pictures of the seat belts for the wheelchair section -- I'm really not sure what is supposed to be there or if anything is missing, so please check them out. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call or email and I will try to figure them out ASAP. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. This is a good opportunity to bid for a no-reserve wheelchair accessible van with plenty of life left. I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle at expressway speeds and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one. You are welcome and encouraged to come check out this vehicle for yourself and take it for a test drive before the auction ends. I have included over 40 pictures - please check out them out. Feel free to email/call me (Michael) at 734-717-3653 with specific questions and I will do my best to answer them. Auction Details & Payment Information: The vehicle is for sale locally as well so auction can end at any time. Bid with confidence as I have represented the vehicle well. There will be a $125 documentation fee added on to each vehicle sold (including sales to other dealers). A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction ending via paypal. The remaining balance will need to be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction by Cash or Cashier's Check. If you need financing, please have that arranged BEFORE the auction ends. Please only bid if you are 100% serious about buying this vehicle. This means you have a plan for shipping or picking up the vehicle and have the financial ability to pay for it. Due to high amounts of non-paying bidders recently, you must have a PayPal account associated with your eBay Account to bid on my auctions. Please make sure you have this, especially if you plan on waiting until the last hours to place a bid because it can take a while to set this up. Please do not take away someone else's opportunity to buy this vehicle by placing a bid without the full intention on purchasing it. Thank you! If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to call me at 734-717-3653. We are a licensed used vehicle dealer and must collect sales tax for all Ohio residents. If you are outside of Ohio, I also have to collect sales tax for the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, and South Carolina. There is a title fee of $15.00 and applies to all purchasers (Ohio and out-of-state). The title to the vehicle will have to be switched into you (or your company's) name and will be promptly mailed to you after purchase. The State of Ohio requires all purchasers (including out-of-state purchasers) to provide a SSN or EIN number to transfer title - if you do not have one you will need to show legal residency (i.e. HB1 or Student Visa). 45-Day temporary tags are available for purchase for $18.50 to all purchasers. These will allow you to legally drive the car until you can go to your local department of motor vehicle office. I recommend you purchase a temporary tag, but you are not required to. This vehicle sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. I have done my best to represent the vehicle, but I don't notice everything. You are welcome and encouraged to pre-inspect the vehicle or send an agent to do so. If you wish to inspect the vehicle, please do so BEFORE bidding - the time to inspect the vehicle is not after you've already bought it. I am also happy to answer any specific questions that you have to the best of my ability. I don't know everything about each different model of car that I sell, but I try my best. We have no state vehicle inspections in Ohio and it is not guaranteed to pass any required inspections for your state. Any New eBay bidders or those with zero feedback, please send us a message or give me call to confirm your contact information or your bid will be canceled. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. We will work with your shipper to help them in any way we can. We are located in Swanton, OH - a small town in NW Ohio, just outside of Toledo. We are approximately two miles from the Ohio Turnpike exit. We would be happy to pick you up from Toledo Express Airport (TOL) or the Toledo Amtrak/Greyhound station for free. It may be easier or more economical to fly into Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), which is about a $70 Uber ride from our location. Transportation assistance may be available from DTW depending on your scheduled arrival time but is not guaranteed.
