Low Mileage care and maintenance schedule For the last 13 years this car was driven an average of 1,100 miles per year. Engine Oil, Oil Filter and lube were performed every fall before going into winter storage. Transmission, Differential, Cooling System, Air filter were serviced every 5000 miles. Drive train components and coolant have been flushed every 5k. The amber color on parts of the engine compartment is bees-wax-like rust protection apparently done with original purchase. The "materials science" in the RX7 rubber and plastic is exceptional. Of all the hoses and belts, only one belt has been replaced. Spark plugs and spark plug wires were replaced about 2000 miles ago. Even the leather seats are probably better than expected for 30 years. The leather on right seat cushion has 3 or 4 perforations that have been functionally repaired but are visible. I think they were from my dog standing with her head out the window. Below The original carpet is in very good condition. There are coffee stains under the seats where they don't normally show. Below Leather-Textured components are fabricated with exceptional quality materials.
