The interior looks and feels great.Several people have asked "how do you base your prices?" It is our own cost on the car plus 2 to 3k on top for profit. The Rest of the description is to educate/enlighten many people about the costs of parts and reasoning for branding vehicles. There is a Big Reason the insurance company deems Vehicles Salvaged/total loss. The main Reason is The repair COST Exceeds 50% - 75% of the Cars Value. In the state of CA the rule is that if the cost of the repairs is over 50% of the cars value it is an automatic Salvage Title Car. In many other states the rule goes up to 75%.That means that salvage/branded vehicles are just too costly to repair( due to highly marked up prices for parts by the dealer/ high hourly rates that body shops charge the insurance) and it is easier for the insurance to write them off. We Only buy once with Light Cosmetic Damages, as to try to buy heavily hit once will cost exceedingly more leaving no profit margin at all. The late model st2/st3's we pay 7500 to 10k for at the auction plus repair costs. The repair cost is pricy mainly due to the expansive st2/st3 xenon adaptive headlights which run us per Pair around 3000$ Front bumper complete almost 1500$ Hood fenders all OEM 800$ radiators fan almost 1000$ upper core support/rebar and other small things like a shutter assembly/splash guards/front engine splash shield/bumper splitter over 1000$ Late Model st2's and st3's cost a rebuilder such as my self anywhere from 12k to 15k if you find a substantially Cheaper rebuild title/salvage title ST2/St3 that means it was purchased with a lot more damage for much cheaper around 3500 to 5k and the parts used are Not new and have been salvaged/fixed/repaired/ for example used Xenon adaptive headlights can be purchased from ebay with broken tabs/scratches/broken housings/ for 400 to 600 and then repaired to cut the cost down. Other corners can be cut in the quality/integrity of the repairs to cut the cost down. We are experts in Frame/Metal work with over 18 years of working with metal. We have two Chassis liner Frame racks with an ability to straighten f250 heavy duty frames. These cars are Not repaired in the Back Yard with a puller attached to a tree. In the State of California when a vehicle is purchased from an insurance compnay the Title will Say "salvage title" when the car goes through the safety inspections and is then processed through the DMV it becomes REBUILT "Salvaged Title". There are Several states in the US that require the Title to be Already Rebuilt to have the word "salvaged" on it instead of "salvage". If you live in one of those states ( Illinois, NJ, VA, Kentucky) where your DMV requires to have a "salvaged/rebuilt" title to license the vehicle we can Obtain that title. It will take 2 weeks to receive the title from the DMV and will cost You as the Buyer extra 400$. To my knowledge there are only few States on east coast that require THIS particular Title for them to license the vehicle. We have Sold our cars to many states with No issues ; Texas, Washington, Utah, OHIO, NC, SC, Fl, NY, Kansas, Arizona,Portland. To make things simple if your considering buying an Out of state Salvage Title/Salvage Certificate all you need to do is call your local DMV and ask them "what paper work do i need to provide? what process do i need to go through? if I am to license an out of state Salvage certificate car in (your State)?" The Dmv will tell you which steps you need to take and which forms youll need to have. If the process is simple and requires you to just take the car to an inspection center and provide the receipts for the parts replaced then The "Salvage Certificate/Salvage Title " will work for you, however if the process is lengthy and requires a month or two of waiting on an inspection then Let Us Know and we will File for a Rebuilt Title In Our State (additional 400 to you) which will make the licensing much simpler. The reason i am trying to be very clear about this matter is due to the fact that when we sent our car to Illinois the customer was frustrated and upset and ended up licensing the vehicle in the neighboring state where the requirements were fewer.
