"SURVIVOR" Rare find STOCK Condition 1978 Dodge Adventurer SHORTBOX 1/2 ton .This truck has endured 40 yrs without being molested or beat up. Truly used as a "Gentlemans Truck" as was described to me by the previous owner. Truck has the original white paint , the original exterior bright trim and original interior . As seen by the pictures the seat needs to be redone but is original . The dash is in pretty good shape considering its been in AZ all it's life. The top of the dash pad is cracking . Door panels are good . The carpet looks to be replaced at some time and is in excellent shape. All glass is good. Windows roll up and down good. Door locks work fine. Lights all work fine. Wipers work fine. After market AM-FM stereo with a nice speaker system. The paint could use a buffing to shine...it is enamel paint so it shines right up. The inside bed of the truck is scratched up but not dented . Tailgate is straight and closes / latches good. The roof has rusting .. "Patina" .The aluminum grill is nice , not bent up. The original front chrome bumper is nice and not bent up. The rear painted "step" bumper is a typical aftermarket dealer add on. It can be raised up as it has a couple adjusting holes . For some reason it is on the low adj. holes.Power is by the original 318-V8 2 bbl. carb motor. Runs great. The factory air cleaner & orig. carb come with the truck. The transmission is the 727 3 speed automatic. Power Steering . Power Frt. Disc..Brakes and Factory Air Conditioning. It blows warm. Either needs charging or just gone through. Looks to be the original exhaust system. It has the original wheels ( spare included) and I believe the original dog dish hubcaps. The 235/75R 15 tires all have knee deep tread. This truck runs and drives nice. It has been licensed and running since new.I put on 24 pictures but will shoot more if you are interested ...just let me know.
