The BMW R 50/2 VIN 64XXXX was manufactured on July 01st, 1963 and delivered on July 08th, 1963 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat. Bike was sold originally in 1965 hence it was titled as 1965 which was a common practice back in the days! Bike is being offered in 2 different configurations depending on the buyers liking. First is with one seat and fender rack w accessory tool bag, second with both solo seats + original factory double seat. Upon purchasing please indicate in which configuration you want the bike to come. See pictures for details.Mechanically in great shape, original paint in average to fair condition, paint chips spots, scratches and dents especially on the rear fender. Moreover, bike still looks quite pretty and presentable. Bike starts in 1-2 kicks, engine is very quiet no noises or smoke. Bike runs like a champ! Runs and rides excellent. Clutch and brakes work well, gearbox goes through all 4 gears as it should. Lights, also all work as intended. OEM Bench seat included in this sale. Bike comes with a clean and clear Illinois title to my name and an old 1974 title (canceled to the state of IL as a historical artifact only).I have ridden the bike on many occasions and shifted all 4 gears - It was a PLEASURE!
