Hello, I am trying to sell my 2005 Suzuki GS500F Sports Bike. I have owned this bike since July 18th, 2014. I am the second owner of this motorcycle. The person who owned it prior to me was a young man who needed to sell it for college money. He had put 7830 miles on the bike and couldn't afford to keep it. The bike now has 9,023 miles on it. He garage kept the bike and I have done the same. I am selling the bike because I don't ride it anymore. The bikes carburetor needs cleaned due to sitting for two years. The bike starts with choke but won't stay running without it. I attempted to clean the carburetors but didn't do a good enough job. I reversed the throttle cable which is a simple fix as well. The bike has a few small scraps on the fairings from when I moved here in late 2017. I am asking $1,700 because the bike has aftermarket handle bars, exhaust, and eliminated rear tail lights. The bike as I said runs good just needs the carburetor cleaned. Please no low balls. Thank you.
