Totally original and Collector bike.This is first year of the legendary RE5 M Wankel rotary engine was presented as the bike of the future by Suzuki ! Only few hundreds were built for the first year with this spaceship like gauge and tail light . Original orange paint is in great condition as shown on pictures,the tank has been lined. Chromes are in a great shape ,some light pitting on top of chain guard and rear fender and few other places but it will clean up. Rims are near perfect. Original seat in great shape . All electric works :commands ,signals, horns etc . Tires are also good . Has original tool kit and owner manual. I purchased this bike from the second owner who drove and maintain it since 1982. This bike went through a total professional maintenance and tune up :carbs ,brakes etc 5 years ago and driven by the owner until 3 years ago than parked in his garage . I rebuilt the petcock and installed a new battery and the bike started right away ,i drove it for a couple of miles at low speed to make sure the bike was running and shifting in all gears .and the bike doesn't seem to have any issues or noise but a small oil leak from the useless chain oiler. However the bike will have to go through a TOTAL check up before taking the road ,this bike is over 45 years old and the mechanic is fairly sophisticated and unusual with oil pumps and this rotary engine ,definitely way too complicated for me. There is NO WARRANTY on this bike This a very collectible bike with just over 23k original miles. Clean PA titles under my name.
