Vehicle Detail

EXTREMELY RARE, T-TOP, 5-SPEED,HIGHLY OPTIONED 1988 PONTIACFIERO GT WITH UNDER 23,000 MILES,DOCUMENTED 2 OWNER IN AMAZING CONDITION!!1 OF 1252 FACTORY T-TOP FIERO'S 1 OF 614 FACTORYGT'S & 1 OF 234 IN THIS COLOR Thank you for taking the time to read my listing. I'm downsizing and selling some of my car's. I purchased this Fiero in 2014 and have enjoyed driving it greatly. It's as close to a street legal go-cart as you can get and never fails to put a smile on my face. In short, it's just a blast to drive. Thing's that I have done to the car. Include redone A/C including the compressor, dryer, and other components and it is now R134. The headliner was redone by a local interior speciality company. Replaced the heater core (due to age). 1988 was the last and final year for the Fiero. It is considered by many to be the best year to own. The 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT is quickly becoming a true iconic Pontiac collector car. In Part to it being the first US mass-produced mid-engine car. But also for the total redesign of the suspension. Having acquired Lotus a few years earlier, it's no surprise that the new suspension is almost identical to that used by Lotus. It is widely believed that Pontiac had Lotus engineers assist in this redesign. GM spent several million dollars on this redesign, and it was only offered in 1988. 1988 was another first for the Fiero. It is the only year that Pontiac offered the T-Top as a factory option ( option code CJB ). Prior to 1988 all T-Top's had to be ordered as a dealer add on. This Fiero is listed in the Fiero T-Top registry. It is number 451 of 1252 T-Top's installed, 1 of 614 factory T-Top GT's and 1 of 235 in this color. I am not a car dealer. I am a collector of classic and antique car's. I meticulously maintain and service all of my car's. I only use Mobil One synthetic oil and BG MOA in my cars. This Fiero was no exception. The car has always been kept inside and covered in a building and was only driven on sunny days. The body is in amazing original condition. The original Red Metallic paint shines beautifully. There are a few small rock chips on the car. I point this out to let you know that it is not a perfect car. But it is an extremely true original survivor. This is one of those opportunities that don't come around vey often. Here is your chance to acquire a collectible sports car. That is highly optioned with very low mileage, and just 2 documented owners in 30 years. Please email me with any questions about the Fiero. Thank you for taking the time to view this listing.
