Vehicle Detail

I'm relisting since it didn't sell the first go around. There are a couple changes: 1) The reserve has been lowered substantually. Someone is going to end up with a nice Fury c'vert 2) I will NO LONGER ACCEPT Paypal in any way, shape or form. See below for deposit info. 1969 Plymouth Fury III Convertible. This car is a very nice survivor, having one repaint back in the early 1980's. THIS IS AN EASY PROJECT CAR!!! Rust is NOT much of an issue. The floors front to back look to be very solid. The car was undercoated from the factory. The only issue body-wise is this. And I will try to explain carefully. It appears the car had some rust repaired when it was repainted in the 80's. Looks like the lower rear quarters were repaired, also a spot just in front of the passenger side rear wheel. The area in front of the rear fender is pooping back thru and will need repair. The passenger door was dented as seen in the pics. The car needs a repaint but the body is ARROW straight!! One spot in the corner of the trunk has a small hole the size of a dime. OK...look close at the underside pics, the car is solid and other than normal surface stuff, it is rock solid down there!! Even the rockers look free of rust. I want to stress...THIS CAR WILL BE AN EASY PROJECT...DRIVE AS YOU GO!! The car runs and drives excellent!! It drives better than most classic cars of that era, that's the attraction to a Chrysler C body car. I should know, I also have another Fury convertible that's a 1970. They are just amazing cars!! FACTORY famous B5 blue!! Ok..mechanically , like I stated the car runs and starts very well. Starting cold it needs a little help. I'm guessing a carb rebuild and a accelerator pump will make it perfect. Its a 318, Torqueflite transmission, power sterring and brakes. It has factory cruise control and an optional tilt steering wheel with a cool see thru wheel that is PERFECT with no cracks at all. The interior is 100% original, no rips or tears. The carpet is in good shape and its NOT faded! The interior could use a good cleaning and you'd pretty much be all done!! The dash has a crack as shown. The top is usable with no rips or tears. The back glass is foggy. Door panels are very good, driver's side has a little tear but savable. The guages are not working but I have a good dash cluster I'll include. I will also include three good factory style road wheels with trim rings that will go with the car. ALSO...and I almost forgot, the missing piece of trim at the top of the windshield is on order from Murray B. Park and it too shall go with the car. To sum it up. IT'S NOT PERFECT. IT'S AN EASY PROJECT CAR. It's being sold in as is condition. I Don't miss this car. There are not many around that aren't complete rust buckets. The fuselage body style, which ran from 1969-1973 are by far the best collectible full size Chrysler products out there. I have Mopar friends that would beg to differ, but that's just my opinion. And fuselage C body Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodges convertibles were only made 1969 and 1970. That was it. OK...the winning bidder to send a $1000. non refundable deposit via USPS Priority Mail. It's cheaper for the buyer and seller and less hassle. NO PAYPAL. The balance will be due in 7 days in the form of certified and verifiable bank check, bank to bank wire transfer or cash at time of pick up. The tires are very good and I think the car could be driven cross country, but that's up to you. This is a reserve auction. The reserve is set LOW so bid to own!! If you're a zero feedback or low feedback bidder please contact me by phone prior to bidding. Please, ANY questions please call and let's chat. That's about it.
