I have owned the MG since 1991. During that time I have driven it about 1500 miles. I have included a letter I received when I bought the car which gives some history from the mid 60's and indicates only moderate use during that time (less than 1000 miles). I have maintained the car myself and had it State inspected each year. I replaced the brake cylinders and flexible hoses last year. I also have fitted a new electric petrol pump and had the carburetors rebuilt. The interior looks original. The body was repainted in 1961 by W.M Braithwiate and does have some chips and slight shrinkage near the headlights. I do not know what, if any, work was done to the engine. The engine is original. It does need a new canvas top if anyone plans to use it in the rain.The temperature gauge and passenger side wiper are currently not working . I have more pictures that I can send if interested. .
