1982 Honda Trail 70 - original survivor with only 600 miles and a TX title. Runs as good as it looks too! If you love original bikes like I do, you'll love this one!! I got this bike a couple months ago from the original owner. His dad bought it brand new for him for Christmas in 1982 (purchased Dec 23rd 1982 as seen on the bill of sale). It wasnt ridden much hence the low miles, then it got stored in the early 90's. I went over the whole bike... new Bridgestone Trail Wings front and back, new tubes, new brake lever, new tail light lense, new petcock, new air filter and spark plug, fresh oil change, new battery cover, and a new battery.. everything else is original !!! paint, fenders, seat, seat cover, lights, chain / sprockets, etc... all original. Unfortunatley the rims and hubs had alot of surface rust and paint chips, so i repainted those since I had them apart anyway. Nothing else was repainted or touched up. It even has the original carb still on it (petcock is new). It usually fires up on the 1st or 2nd kick, without choke, and purrs like a sewing machine. The engine is very quiet and tight. The horn works, blinkers work, on/off switch works, tail and brake light work, speedometer and speedo back light work, neutral light works, turn signal indicator works, high beam indicator works, but the headlight isnt.. the bulb is blown and Ive ordered another... I tested the connections, its getting power, and will be working before auction ends. Front and back brakes work great, shifts into all 3 gears great, no clutch slip at any rpm or any gear. All the factory stickers are still in place too. Also still has the factory tool kit. The only thing missing on this bike are the mirrors. The bike runs great, rides great, and looks great!!!Comes with original Texas title, a copy of the original bill of sale, and 2 keys. Notice the BOS, title, key chain, and license plate cover all have the same Honda dealer name from Houston.. how cool is that !!!
