My sister bought a house and found this in the garage. So I'm selling it for her. 1967 Pontic Firebird 400 engine. The original color was Mayfair Maze "yellow"which was special order back in 1967. The interior is gray and not original. The car has a v8 engine and looks to be a 400 with a 4 barrel carburetor. Automatic transmission and a 10 Bolt rear end. The last time it was running was 2003 when it was on the road, it's been sitting since then. I was told it would run and drive with some fresh fuel and fluids. The car is complete and wider fender flares where installed but the car was not repainted after the install. Looks like it was an awesome and fast car back in 2003 !!!! The numbers on the engine block on the passenger side front of the block read - 376 468 YH "I was told by the previous owner that the car was purchased from Myrtle Motors - I did a little research and in 1967 myrtle motors offered an engine swap from the dealer that removed the 400 engine and replaced it with a 428 to compete with the COPO Camaro. I can't find any proof to this but it was a special ordered color on the exterior so I'm a thinking it could have been a special ordered engine as well. If anyone knows how I can find out this information please let me know. " Need a full restoration !!!! Or you might just put good fuel and a battery and off you go, but I do not have the time to play around with it.
