Vehicle Detail

1971 Ford Mustang Grande, I bought this car from an older lady in Northern California who claimed to be the second owner and was getting to old to drive the car. The car was all original when I purchased the mustang and in very good condition considering the age of the car. The mustang showed 38,000 miles on the odometer upon purchase. I can’t confirm the mileage or if it was turned over I would not be surprised if the car was original miles because the car still had the original OEM ford stamped exhaust mufflers still on the car. I spent the last 3 years restoring the car. The Mustang has a new professionally rebuilt 351 Cleveland with iron 2-barrel heads. The engine has a lightly modified cam along with Headman ceramic long tube headers and all new muffler exhaust. The engine has an Edelbrock aluminum Air Gap Manifold topped with a Holley 670 CFM street avenger carburetor. The car is equipped with an FMX transmission which also has been completely rebuilt. I had the car suspension completely rebuilt by the boys at Sacramento Mustang. The paint job is beautiful and is a true 3 stage candy apple red which was professional pained along with all body work. I had Mustang plus restoration shop install a new Dakota Instrumental panel along with a one of a kind 2 tone TMI interior kit along with new door jams, carpet, steering wheel and new headliner. I also had Mustang Restoration Plus install all new rubber for the entire car from hood, doors windows and trunk lid. I have new front and rear bumpers, new billet antenna and had AAA plating buff and polish all exterior parts which looks amazing. This car is truly a beautiful car and ready to drive. I forgot to add I have all new front Scott Drakes Halogen headlights along with all new tail lights bezel and side marker. This car is about 95 percent complete, I listed everything I have done to the car the following is things you will need to finish the car. The car came originally equipped with a Air condition and when I bought the car the compressor did not work. You will need to replace the AC and I would probably recommend vintage air or classic air. I also have new in a box the center counsel along with new mustang FM and AM radio which is not shown. The passenger A pillar was broken, and I have an OEM original A pillar unpainted pillar that you will need to paint and install. The car has a new yellow optima battery. The car fires right up and sounds great and a lot of power. The engine has a hiccup or cough, I was told by Edelbrock support that the car will probably need a bigger carburetor like a 750 to 800 CFM and she will run like champion. I also forgot to add new aluminum rims and tires. The car has less than 200 miles since restoration and I get thumbs up every where I have driven, she is truly a beautiful car and ready for someone to finish her and take her to a car show. I have an entire trunk full of parts for the car. On Jun-18-18 at 15:52:02 PDT, seller added the following information:
