Hey everybody! It's hard to believe but 2018 is almost half over. Schools are about to close for the year and the weather forecasters are predicting a scorching hot summer!But, it's also time for me to sell my 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser. I'm buying a new Toyota 4Runner which is very similar to the Land Cruiser but at half the price. A new 2018 Land Cruiser has an MSRP of about $ 84,315 dollars. According to Kelley Blue Book, my vehicle in Fair condition has a trade-in value of between $ 4,878 and $ 7,093 and a private-party value of between $ 6,776 and $ 9,677 which clearly shows that I have priced this vehicle below market value.The Bad:The touchscreen display/navigation screen works but has a tendency to lock up.She has 192,000 miles, all from highway driving.Undercarriage rust is normal for a vehicle of this age but could use a coating of POR-15 or Fluidfilm to prevent further deterioration.Will need muffler pipe after the catalytic converter to the rear bumper.The Good:Four new Michelin LTX M/S2 Tires.New rear brakes (June of 2018).Air Conditioning and Heat work very well.
