Offered here is a very nice original 1963 Mercury Monterey convertible. This car is one owner from new in 1963. It was purchased new in Bridgeport, CT and stayed with the original owner until we acquired the car last year. Overall the car is in good condition. The interior is mostly original, it was painted once about 20 years ago, but it still presents well. When we acquired the car we restored the entire fuel system which included rebuilding the carburetor and cleaning the gas tank, did the brakes and put new tires on the car. It is also sporting an original set of Kelsey Hayes Thunderbird wire wheels which look really good on the car and are also in great original condition. The top is also fairly new as we put it on the car last year. The power top goes up and down as it should. The undercarriage is also in good original condition. Everything is very solid and rust free as the car was always garaged. It does have to spots on the body where there is rust, on the bottom front part of the right rear wheel well, and the bottom of the left front fender. Other than that the car is very solid and runs and drives great. Even the radio works. This car is ready for top down driving this summer.
