This 97 Toyota Tacoma has 44in boggers, straight axle front suspension on coilovers. As a completely impractical commuter car it definitely holds its own. I'll cruise around town in it a few times a week to turn some heads and make some noise and it is surprisingly manageable on the road. A very streetable off road toy. The power steering works well and with its hydro assist, it steers effortlessly. The 5.0 Ford motor and transmission have plenty of power to turn the huge 44s. It also has been upgraded with 5.13 gearing. The motor itself has been built up, yet does have some leaks around the gaskets. I have just put on brand new belts and a new battery. The bed mounted electric fan and radiator does a great job keeping the temperatures down on this tank. Though the speedo is not hooked up, it does have a functioning after market tach, working oil pressure, voltage, and temp gauge. The inside is pretty clean, though the door handle on the driver side is missing, the cable is still there and will open the door. The lights, signals, wipers, power windows, transfer case, locking hubs, all work. It will be a fun, loud machine for whoever winds up bringing it home. Its a beast, it turns head, and spins the rear wheels, (wouldn't do that too much if you like the boggers). Makes a lot of noise, revs out great! Its a great toy, I run it about 10 miles a day back and forth to the gym or the beach for the fun of it, and show off a bit. I missed all the good mud events this year, so my loss is your gain.
