Vehicle Detail
Selling this Touareg after upgrading to a newer one. This car is still a reliable vehicle, the engine runs well, always starts right up in any temperature.Does not use any fluids. Always serviced at the correct times. Tires have around 15,000 miles on them, still decent tread. Brakes have around 6000 miles on them. Paintwork showing a few marks, pics show some of them, no dents. Couple of tree sap stains and other general wear and tear from being 14 years old. Inside has general wear and tear from having kids and daily usage, still reasonably clean, non smokers. Everything works, radio, fans, lights, powered seats, ac is still cold. No corrosion noticed, body is solid. As you can see in the dash picture the ESP light is on, this is the electronic stabilization light coming on to say the system is switched off. This light has been coming on and off for a while. On one day and off the next. No fault can be found so it has been put down to a sensor error. The car drives the same way all the time. The tire pressure warning alarm also goes off at times, there is nothing wrong with the tire pressure. I will post more pictures and try and put a video up when the rain goes off. Car does not have a warranty sold as is. Cash or cashiers check on collection. Deposit via pay pal when auction ends. Collection in Wilton ct. A few more pictures added now that the rain is off, trying to show the condition of the paint. A lot of the marks can be buffed out and some can only be seen from certain angles. Only a couple have actually scratched into the paint.A video added as well if you can, bit bright to get a good video detail but hopefully it's of some use. Thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FDtu8h9iVs On May-22-18 at 07:53:37 PDT, seller added the following information: After reading on several forums about the ESP switch being the problem if coffee or something had been spilled into it i decided to buy another switch and change it out.See pic That seems to have been the problem! Light is off, drove for a bit, got a new emissions test. So the only warning that comes up now is tire pressure. see pic
