Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE! You are bidding to own the car! This is one bad z28 Camaro! Cowl tag says it came from the California plant. Lots of time, money, and effort has been put into this car!The engine is a beast! I believe it is a 350, might be bigger, this car is quick! It's a small block with Edlebrock aluminum air gap intake manifold, electric choke carb, Aluminum aftermarket heads, Tall aluminum valve covers, roller rockers, heavy duty aluminum water pump, DUI distributor, flat top pistons, Mallory ignition wires, ARP bolts, long tube headers, obviously a radical cam, unknown specs, dual exhaust, performance mufflers, deep sump sheet metal oil pan, flex fan and a big aluminum radiator, custom dual snorkel aluminum air filter, new belts and fuel pump, sounds tough and can burn the tires all the way down the street! There are aftermarket gauges in the console, good oil pressure, voltage, and water temp.Transmission is the 4 speed, shifts well, Has a Hurst shifter, clutch is good, and engagement is smooth. Rear end is a 10 bolt positraction unit, If memory serves, its a 3.73 gear from the factory, assuming it has not been changed. The car has power tilt steering, power front disc brakes, factory tint windows, A/C is not hooked up.The hood is a functional steel cowl, I believe it's a 2 inch, but not more than 4 inch. Stainless steel grill is new.A new windshield has just been professionally installed, as well as new wiper blades. The driver's door has a new window regulator. Both front door panels, window winder handles, door handle surrounds, door seals, window seals, and trunk seal are all new. doors do not sag and close well!Previous owner had the interior redone in grey/black cloth, carpet replaced, headliner is custom with fire flames in 3-D! Sun visors have chevy bow ties in 3-D too!Custom aluminum wheels, good tires with plenty of tread on them. The body, in my opinion, is in better than average condition. The floors and trunk are original and solid, trunk drop-offs look great too, as well as the frame rails. This car has been in north Tx for a long time, if not its whole life, away from all the bad weather that eats up cars. The car looks great going down the road, however, it is not perfect, there are dings, surface scratches, imperfections in the paint etc. The car is almost 40 years old, it is not a show car. Expect that it will require some work, The car had been sitting for about 8 years prior to getting it running again, gas tank was drained, carb was cleaned out and re-kitted, so it will need final tuning. Brake line was replaced, brake bleeding done after that. New battery was also just installed. Car has been driven around the block a few times, no tags/inspection, they expired. The horn and speedo do not work. I am sure there are other things that go with old cars, this is not a new car! Clean TX title in hand, I just noticed how dusty the car is in the pics...!You are welcome to ask questions, or come to see the car. I will do my best to accommodate you.The $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. You are bidding to OWN the car, not the right of first refusal. Please check with your significant other, and your bank account BEFORE bidding. Thanks you so much for looking and good luck!
