I regret selling this beautiful car but it just isn't driven enough to justify the garage space. This 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Pininfarina Veloce, Series 4, is in excellent condition. The very appealing and highly-sought, original "Fly Yellow" paint retains it's shine and there are no dents from accidents anywhere on the car. The body is in great condition and there is no evidence of rust or signs of any repairs. There are three small dimples within the quarter panels that you have to look hard to see (photo) & two small creases in the drivers headlight cowl (photo). The odometer shows 19,464 miles which I believe to be original and correct and is reported by AutoCheck. The interior is in very good condition with no tears to the seats, no wear to the door inserts and almost no wear to the carpets which are always covered by brand new Alfa Romeo floor mats. The seats do show some wear (just normal crazing) with no tears. The convertible top looks brand new with a clear rear plastic window. One of the leather strap handles is torn and is easily replaced. Mechanically, the car runs great, starts right up and purrs with that characteristic Alfa engine sound. The 5-speed manual transmission is in great condition without the typical sync problems of other Alfas. The tires are in great shape with the original Alfa alloy wheels & original alloy spare which are in excellent condition. Upon my purchase I had professionally installed a new 70w Alpine CD/Sirius/Receiver & Speaker sound system and a Clifford LED 2-way Security System, as well as a GForce Performance Chip which added approximately 15 hp of power (it was a noticeable increase, this car is quick). The power windows, clock, power mirrors, power antenna, wiper, signals, lights all work. The only oddities to this car are that the airbag light stays on for several minutes after start-up and the speedometer is not accurate (a new Alfa Romeo speedo cable comes with the car if you want to install it); all fans worked the last time I drove the car but just started it up yesterday and no interior fans work (most likely a fuse needs to be replaced) . This car has been constantly garaged, avoiding the typical dash, glove box, or convertible-top cracks most commonly found on other Alfas this age. There is 1 repaired crack in the dash and the original shift boot has two tears (a new Alfa shift boot comes with the car if you choose to replace it). All suede inserts are in near perfect condition. Despite the very low miles, I've regularly serviced the car. Here in Texas the car is required to pass inspection every year, and this car does with no adjustments. This Alfa is a gem and can't possibly disappoint. I can't go anywhere in this car without it being admired. And needless to say, this Alfa lives up to the legendary rack and pinion "Alfa handling"; it is a dream to take on a winding country road, and it has no problem keeping up with the modern freeway pace; it's rock solid.
