Laramie SLTONLY 108,500 MILES / ONE OWNER For Sale or Trade is my beautiful two tone Brilliant Blue Metallic / Silver Metallic 1997 Dodge 3500 Laramie SLT Cummins 12 Valve Turbo Diesel Truck. First and for most, there are over 150 pictures available at the link below, so please take a minute to look over all the pictures. The truck is equipped with the very desirable 12 Valve 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine (235 hp & 460 lb-ft torque) and an automatic transmission. It has just 108,500 Original miles and has always been garaged as you can tell by the pictures given the great condition of the paint and body. The original owner was picky about the truck and always babied it its entire life. It has been Very well maintained & serviced since it was new to keep it in great condition (described below). It runs and drives perfectly and has no issues of any kind. As you may know 1997 was the last full year to get the 5.9 12 Valve Turbo Diesel Engine in a Dodge Truck and it is by far one of the (if not THE) most Desirable & Dependable engines to have in a big truck and being a 1997-year model it pre-dates modern emission standards and was not equipped with restrictive emission equipment. In Addition, it is also exempted from most state emission requirements. Paint and BodyThe Brilliant Blue Metallic paint and body on the truck are in excellent shape and shines like new...it is extremely clean and has no dents or dings of any kind. The Truck still retains its original Dodge bed liner, which still looks in great shape. The truck does show normal wear for the mileage it has but is by far above average for this rare truck. The top of the cab is starting to show some signs of fading (see pictures). The truck does have the larger camper shell which was installed by the original owner to help haul things without worrying about them getting wet. InteriorThe Mist Gray Interior is in absolutely amazing shape as well with no rips or tears in the seats. It's never been smoked in and has no funny smells. The seats, carpet and door panels are in great condition...as they should be and show very minimal wear. The dash is mint and in perfect shape with only one minor crack (see pictures). The door panels are in excellent shape with absolutely no cracks, stains or fading. The power windows and locks function as new as does the AC. The original stereo system sounds great and works perfectly. The truck does have the optional remote keyless entry along with telescoping mirrors for towing. The truck is also equipped with a factory installed CB radio that does work. The rear side windows have factory tint to help keep the cab cool during hot Florida summer days. In addition, the dash and seats have always been covered with a dash mat and towels on the front seat which are not pictured but are included with the purchased of the Truck. The truck still retains the original floor mats which are very clean (see pictures). Drive-trainThe 5.9 Cummins 12V Turbo Diesel engine cranks and runs perfectly. The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts great and is back up with the optional 3.50 ratio limited slip rear axle. The truck does have the optional Dana 80 rear axle that was special ordered when the truck was new. The truck has 6 brand new 235/85/16 Copper RTX Tires just installed in April 2018 (just a few weeks ago) that have less than 100 miles on them. It also has 2 new Interstate batteries that were installed in October 2017. In addition, we just installed 4 new Rancho Shocks on the truck when we installed the new tires in April. The AC blows cold and has recently been serviced.
