This auction is for a 2002 Mercury Cougar, V6, 2.5L, 35th Anniversary Edition, one owner, low miles, 98,496. Recent oil change and front brake pad replacement. The engine light is currently on,because the muffler needs replacing. The air bag light sensor is blinking as well, because it is due to be checked at the 15 year mark, per the owner manual/recent call to dealership-feel free to check this on your own. Another common issue with this model, is the fuel light sensor has been replaced several times and is currently working only intermittently. The tires have about 3/4 of their tread worn down. However, other than that, it truly drives well, and has no other known mechanical defects or issues. I am only getting rid of this car because I am moving cross country. It has a lot of cosmetic issues with the front and rear bumper and front hood as you can see from the pictures. I have parked it pending sale, but it was driven daily prior to this posting with no issues. The interior is in good condition, and the original radio has been replaced with a Pioneer CD player that allows for a USB link port for an iPhone or Samsung charge hookup or play.
