Up for auction is a cool 1972 Chevy C-10. I bought this C-10 last year from the original owner. I had big plans to restore this truck and to convert it to a short bed but I have no time or money and too many other projects going on. It has a 307 v8 with a four speed transmission and a 12 bolt rear. I'm not sure of the axle ratio. It has power steering and power brakes, with factory disc up front. This C-10 starts, runs, drives, and stops great. It has 97494 miles on the original engine and transmission. These miles will change as this truck is my daily driver. I installed new wiper blades, fuel pump and a new Duracell Ultra Gold 800 CCA battery. All of the lights work inside and out. The door locks, heater, horn and all of the gauges work also. The original owner installed an AM radio from a Buick that still works great. It has some rust in both rockers and one of the cab corners but nothing that can't be repaired. I'm not sure if the floors have any rust because it still has the original rubber floor mat that I didn't want to damage by lifting it up. looking underneath I don't see any issues with the floor. The top half of the seat still has the original cover and its in great shape but the bottom half will need to be recovered as there is nothing but the foam left. All of the glass is in good condition minus the front windshield which is cracked but it's the original piece. This would make a great project truck to restore or to drive as is.
