For sale is a 2005 Chevy Suburban. This vehicle is an ex government vehicle. It has been up-armored! The windows are capable of stopping a 7.62 and lesser (they are about 3” thick!). It was used by the US Marshall’s to transfer prisoners between US and Mexico. It has less than 28,000 miles on it! Everything has worked flawless since the day we purchased it. It is a 2500 4x4 with an 8.1 V-8 engine. The frame has been built up to handle the extra weight. It tips the scales at 11,000 pounds which is about 5,000 pounds of armor! The rear hatch is armored, it is about 3” thick as well. The tires have a steel “tire” inside to prevent them from going flat and making the vehicle inoperable. There is a rear facing camera that shows up on the dash display. It has a loudspeaker and siren, a microphone on the exterior of the vehicle so you can hear what is being said while you’re inside. The vehicle also comes with a TV for the 2nd and 3rd row seats. It even has red flashers hidden in the grill and on the back hatch (when open). There has been armor added in the engine compartment to protect the sensitive components (fuse box, battery, ect). I have had no problem driving it at 85mph on the interstate. This would make for the perfect “bug out” vehicle or someone wanting extra protection for their family.
