I bought this new from MAX BMW in Brookfield CT in June 2017 and have only put 790 miles on it. It has been used with great care is still in nearly new condition as photos illustrate. It has no dents dings or damage - only normal wear from light use. It has always been garaged when not in use. Everything runs and operates properly. With 110 hp and approx 480 lbs this thing is fast. It's a joy around town but it really comes to life on country roads, on or off asphalt. The Metzler Karroo tires sing nicely on pavement but really add grip on gravel and other loose surfaces. Besides that they're completely in keeping with the Scrambler's rough New Machine-Age aesthetic. In addition to heated grips (very nice on cold days) and ASC (automatic stability) this bike has the cross spoke wheels ($500 option) that IMHO make the Scrambler. The R9TSCR isn't available equipped from the factory with a tachometer (rev counter as BMW call it) so I added the correct BMW unit (approx $500), which seems a necessity for serious riding of a machine that revs this rapidly. The Scramblers minimalist look is stunning, however as shipped it has virtually no storage. I added a handcrafted-in-Italy waxed suede leather pannier and powder-coated subframe ($400+) from Unit Garage and also Unit's passenger grib / rear luggage rack ($200+), both of which suit the bike's looks and make it much more livable. The pannier is rain-and-weatherproof, locks on the frame with a key and is easily removed. The BMW factory warranty still has more than 2 years on it: 36 months / 36K miles from original purchase date of June 6 2017. The 24-hour BMW Motorrad USA Roadside Assistance is also good for this period, and both are will transfer to the new owner. I'm selling this vehicle as described but with no other warranty or guarantee expressed or implied.
