Very clean 1986 Corvette project car. The engine starts, idles, and runs fine, and the car drives, but there is a clicking/knocking sound coming from the engine. It's not horrible, but there is definitely something wrong that needs repair. It has plenty of oil pressure, and the pic of the instrument panel was taken while the car was running when I pulled it out of the garage yesterday to take the pics. I bought the car in this condition, and have done nothing with it. It has just sat inside my garage for a few years. It was freshly painted just before I got it, and it looks very nice. The digital dash works (and looks very cool), windows go up and down, and the headlights go up and down just fine. The bottom of the car is extremely clean as well. It does not look like it has ever seen winter. The tires appear almost new. About the only things I see needing attention are: Engine noise.Seats have small wear spots on bottoms as seen in pics.Carpet from the cargo area was missing when I got it.I noticed the heater is bypassed, I'm assuming it might need a heater core.Window felts are aging. Overall, it is in very nice shape, and will make for a good project that won't need to go to the body shop for anything. It will drive on to a trailer for loading. When I bought it I unloaded a block away from my house and drove it home. Here is your chance to buy a Vette for less than what the last guy probably spent on the paint and tires for it! I will leave the car inside of my garage after the auction completion, but it must be picked up within 10 days of auction completion, as I will be out of town after that.
