I, also, have listed for sale 2 1981 Honda CB 750s and a Yamaha Virego 550cc for sale 1978 GL1000 Black Red, white and Blue custom painted tank VIN: GL 14060332 67,862 miles. I bought this from the estate of a neighbor and know it’s history. He drove it 17 miles to town at 55 and 65 MPH. It was always garaged. He painted the tank with a rattle can and it looked terrible. I repainted I painted it using Omni, two stage epoxy paint. I laid down a sealer coat, 3 coats of black, 3 coats of clear followed by the decals. I then topped it off with 4 more coats of clear coat. All equipment is OEM original and everything works. It has floorboard and toe/heel shifter The petcock was leaking so I sealed it and added an auxiliary shut off valve. Seat and tires, paint and chrome are all in excellent condition. This has always been garaged. 1981 GL1100 Full Dress. It even has the original took kit and tray. The gas Gage is not working. It has floor boards and toe heel shifter. Thus the turn signals and headlight are installed but are not OEM original. It has always been garaged. Seat, chrome and paint are in great shape.
