Vehicle Detail
Up For Sale is a FULL Nut & Bolt Restoration of the iconic Honda CT90 (Trail 90). Entire motorcycle tore down, every piece media blasted and re-painted. Motor was tore completely down and assembled from a professional builder in Monterey, Ca. Nothing untouched. In fantastic condition. Everything new (NOS OEM), aftermarket or restored to OEM condition. Speedo shows 4,557 miles on it, but engine has less than 15 miles on it. It was started, broke in and rode a couple of times. Took it to a couple of shows and I am now selling for the next project. I have all documentation of the build in a nice 3 D-ring folder. Comes with all original paperwork, manual (RARE), spare pair of grips, throttle cable, tools and a original CA (1972) plate that I purchased a couple of years ago. It's cleared through the CA DMV, just needs transferred which also as the original 1972 tag sticker on it. The front fender has a dent in it, I did not want to use bond when restoring, so if you want, that will need to be prepped and painted. *Please note**. 1. The front fender has a very small dent in it (see photo), I did not want to use bond when restoring, so if you want, that will need to be prepped and painted. If you choose to find and replace the fender, I WILL PAY TO HAVE THE FENDER POWDER COATED TO MATCH AND SHIP THE FENDER BACK TO YOU! 2. Since this has been sitting in my shed for around a year now, there is an issue with the battery and holding a charge, I assume. The bike runs and starts excellent and idles and rides fine. At high RPM, no issues, but at idle, when the headlight switch is turned on L/H, the bike bogs and dies. If your a mechanic and purchasing this, I assume one of three things: - I need a new battery?- This is a Ground issue that needs chased ?- It needs a new rectifier? Because of this I’ve lowered the reserve. Only (2) issues on this beautiful restoration and I don’t have the time or patience to chase these down. I will assist with dropping bike off to the nearest designated shipping terminal or deliver for a fee. Any questions - 66one- five77 - sixnine55. I have a video of it running. Jason-
