Where else can you find a good used car with only 5,500 miles on it for $2900? Nice 1975 Sebring-Vanguard Citicar. This is the 48-volt SV48 model- the more powerful one. The color is red and black, shines real nice, the body has the usual cracks around the stress points, but overall very presentable. I had the full battery pack replaced last year, so they're nice and fresh- I can show you the receipt. The tires are like new, runs and drives the way it should. The interior is very nice, no rips or tears, and the instrument panel is nice. The car is currently registered and driven often, it passed the tough Connecticut motor vehicle inspection last year. Comes with a factory Citicar Service Manual. The reason why it doesn't have a Car Fax report is that it's an unusual brand that they don't report on. To the best of my knowledge the car has never been involved in an accident. I drive the car everyday- it is currently registered and was always registered by the previous owner. The factory-installed on-board charger doesn't work at present. It lights up and hums but doesn't charge the batteries. I had an electrician over who said he thought the wires might have been crossed at some point and that it would be a matter of crossing them back but he declined to do the job- he was in his 80's and couldn't crawl under the dash to work on it. SO- since owning it I have always used a separate 48-volt charger to charge the batteries, and will throw it in with the car, obviously. Any questions please email me or call 203 877 6717 Pat Foster
