2001 BMW R1200c cruiser, Euro styling package, gorgeous silver-blue color. I am the original owner. It has been a wonderful bike and I hate to get rid of it, but lifestyle has changed and kiddos take precedence over solitary sunset rides and back highway road trips. I hope it ends up with someone who really appreciates the German engineering. This cruiser was made for a limited time by BMW, and its lines are still as unique as it was when the design came out in 1997. It features a cantilevering frame that compresses the front and back tires equally when breaking, lending a great deal of stability. It also features an anti-lock breaking system, but it hasn't functioned for years, and I haven't had the desire or funds to repair it. The motorcycle still drives like a dream and is just as smooth on the interstate as it is on winding country roads. It has very few flaws or blemishes for being a 2001, but it does have some. I have included photos of all that I am aware of. Mufflers have some discoloration (pictured), the rear tire guard has a small scuff on the paint (pictured), and there is a hairline crack on the tail light assembly (pictured). Tires are in good shape (pictured). BMW replaced the engine about 6 or 8 months after I bought it, as it had a manufacturing flaw, but the new engine has run perfectly ever since 2002. The seat is a Corbin upgraded seat for two passengers, with a two-position back rest for single riding or doubling up. I have the OEM BMW seat, and the attachment hardware and passenger seat (pad) are in great shape and can be easily re-installed, but the driver's seat itself is in need of reupholstering.
