Vehicle Detail
1999 Honda Accord Coupe 2.3L Vtec withtons of performance upgrades A fun and reliable car for a great price Strong Motor - Strong Trans - Fuel Efficient 10% of this sale will be donated to the American Cancer Society 195k+ on everything all original motor, tranny(5spd)1999 Accord Coupe has the F23A 4 cylinder 2.3L Vtec engine, 5-speed manual transmission, clutch bites good every gear but to sweeten the pot il toss in a brand new stage two racing clutch with a lightweight flywheel and a new throwout bearing and alignment tool for upgrading it later if needed. This accord is a fun car and has no major issues period, no knocking, no slipping, no smoking, she's never let me down. This is not a race car more of a long-term show car project. The Good - Heat works- New Water pump- New Timing Belt- New Fuel Pump- Racing steering wheel with quick release hub installed the correct way- Honda Logo puddle light projectors- New coolant Temp Tensor- Professionally installed aftermarket exhaust- Aftermarket halo headlights- Programmable Racing Tachometer with shift light and controller- Full aftermarket Body kit all the way around (blended seamlessly in the rear and on the side skirts) and its rock solid.- 7" Touchscreen with Bluetooth, micro sd reader, USB reader, will play movies, mp3's and tons more.- The reverse camera automatically turns on and displays on screen when in reverse.- Custom 3 gauge pillar pod with gauges, voltage gauge, coolant temp gauge, and one oil pressure gauge (oil pressure gauge is not currently hooked up but still lights up just haven't ordered an oil filter sandwich plate for it yet.- Adjustable racing coil suspension front and back.- Modded gauge cluster led's that can change colors and patterns with the remote.- Bottom feed cold air intake to pull true cold air into the intake and not hot engine bay air (people mistake it for a turbo intercooler)- Currently has 4 lug to 5 lug wheel adapters on with 5 lug chrome 17" 300m rims and a matching 5th spare will all new tires on all, and a set of black 4 lug honda wheels with tires that are ok for in town driving for winter.- Amp kit installed nice and clean, one 15" 2000 watt subwoofer, one capacitor to feed the amp clean voltage, and a pioneer amp with a sealed box, it slams like a beast and sounds crisp.- Replaced the front door speakers with Polk audio and replaced the rear 6x9's with Boss so the stereo is mint and sounds great all the way around.- Installed hood pins when my hood latch was broken but since has been replaced so I kept the hood pins for the look even tho the hood latch works.- All the bodywork is done including shaved roof lines/drip edge, debadged everything on the exterior,- New trunk latch lock installed (the last system I had broke the latch mechanism)- Replaced driver window track, gears, and motor a month ago and both power windows work great.- Clean and clear title in handThe Bad- Has 195K+ miles but replaced timing belt recently plus Hondas NEVER DIE!!! in the right hands.- Needs new o2 sensor (easy fix and only effects the fuel economy a bit)- the 17" Rims that are currently on it need balancing due to the 4 lug to 5 lug adapters and has a tiny amount of rub on sharp turns from the coil over settings being so low (has a slight wobble but the factory wheels ride flawlessly its all personal preference with the coil overs)- Needs new wiper blades- I would personally suggest a valve lash adjustment as they are to be adjusted every 30-60k miles but a lot of people never do, and who knows I might just do that before anyone looks at it if I have time.- I've painted this car a few times now and was never happy with the colors so currently it has been primed grey and then roll painted satin black with Rustoleum just to keep it rust free until its final paint job, it would be fine as is or resanded and repainted to be show car quality. - Ac works but needs recharging.
