2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 8.1 Gas with Allison Transmission Very clean Chevrolet Silverado Truck, it has always been an Arizona Truck, not a spot of rust anywhere!! We have owned the truck for about 13 years and have decided to sell due to my father's declining condition over the past few years and lack of use. Its been the family "go to" truck for this many years (the one that the son's borrow when moving). The truck has now been parked with very limited use for about 3-4 years and now we have decided to part ways with it. This is a rare 8.1 V8 Gas Engine with an Allison transmission, which means you get the benefits of using gas and the torque that Diesel trucks get from having the Heavy Duty Allison transmission. The truck BFG All Terrain Tires in good condition with stock wheels. I have recently replaced shocks, gear box, pitman arm, inner tie rods, battery, and the list goes on. I just had this truck professionally detailed, wet sanded and polished along with the undercarriage coated in heavy duty paint to protect from corrosion. It looks sharp! Remember, the paint is still 17 years old, it shines but it is not a new paint job nor do I intend to pass it as such. The Moldings, front grill and rear tail lights were replaced a few years back to refresh the look as the sun really bakes all plastics. The front seats were starting to show age and I found locally a truck with 5000 miles that was being parted out and got the front seats out of it. Thats why the front and rear seats have a slightly different cloth pattern (no one has noticed or pointed out). This truck will tow anything, we have been using it to tow occasionally and never has any issues. The truck always delivers. There should be no problem passing emissions. It has never had anything altered with the exhaust for that reason. It currently still has catalytic converters and stock mufflers. It purrs like it should. Its been sitting for too long now. This truck's only modification I made was installing a K&N Air Filter. We installed an Alpine Deck about 4-5 years ago, sounds decent for what it is - better than stock for sure! The speakers are Kicker. I did not want to cut and add a stereo that might possibly ruin the bezel. The truck has the speakers installed in the stock locations, 2 in the front doors and 2 in the rear doors. Please contact me with any questions or Concerns. I have Sold a Few Trucks on eBay. The Bad: Roof paint is starting to fade as you can tell in the pictures, the tow haul button stopped working which can be something very simple, the middle lighter/cig outlet does not work. On Apr-02-18 at 21:23:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Update:I have had the cigarette/outlet and I also have had the Tow/Haul button fixed. The Shifter was replaced in order for the Tow/Haul button to work properly. I have fixed these as I do not want any buyer to worry about it. It was a simple fix. Also, just to clarify as I've had multiple emails regarding the lien. The truck NO LONGER has a lien. The truck was paid off when I listed the truck on eBay. I have a free and clear title in my name ready for the buyer. The truck has had a dash mat since we purchased back in 2005, there's a very small crack that I can send in several pictures upon request. There was no more room for those pictures in the listing. The dash mat is slightly faded but still looks good and provides a barrier from direct sun, I only took off for listing pictures. The center console lid was also replaced within the last year, it is not cracked and is functional as it should be. The front rotors and brakes were replaced within the last 2 years, no squeaks. Unfortunately I do not have receipts for most of these parts, I moved within the last year and I have not been able to find the folder containing these.
