1999 Mercedes CLK 320 coupe. I bought this about a year ago, it was going to be an extra car for my wife and I to drive, a​​ ​backup car​ ​to our daily drivers. Unfortunately, a TREE BRANCH fell on it and broke-out the front windshield & rear glass and damaged the roof a little bit, in certain places, (see pictures)....... I was told it is fixable, but I have no idea how much it would cost... I was thinking of fixing it, but I lost interest in fixing it. I kept going back and forth do I fix it or sell it, but my wife would like to see it gone. She wants it out of the garage!! Its been in our garage for about a year ........and as I mentioned I NEVER put tags or insurance on it, I was getting ready to, but when the tree branch fell on it, I never did. My loss is your gain. So it will need a front windshield and back glass and some bodywork. I called a few junkyards which sells the back (rear) windshield for $150. You might even find it for less. Keep in mind, it will need the roof repaired in various places, (dents) in my opinion nothing major....see the pictures with a finger pointing at the damaged areas. This is a PROJECT CAR........and will require some work. If you can do the work yourself or know someone who can do the work at a reasonable cost, you will have a nice car.... ​In my opinion, the car is worth fixing​ up....... or it would be a GREAT PARTS CAR!!! The parts alone are worth big bucks! The body has no rust/no rust holes The title is clear & clean. ​I think the white exterior paint with the grey interior is the best combination!​ I tuned it up (​NEW​ ​spark ​plugs & wires) changed the oil ​(synthetic oil) ​New Air filter​/New wipers.... The car runs and drives. (I have no prior information/history on the car). I bought the car AS IS and selling it AS IS. I never put tags on it, I bought it to fix up. Since I never put tags & insurance, I only drove it around my neighborhood, it seems to drives and shifts fine, as I mentioned, I have no prior information or history on the car. I bought it as is and I'm selling it as is... The AC seems to work great, ice cold air!! The dash is in excellent condition. New battery, about 8 months old I ​replaced the FRONT SEATS with a pair of REALLY NICE/EXCELLENT CONDITION​ Mercedes front​ seats out of a low mileage CLK...(Same year).....​(I paid over $400 for the front seats alone)​​!!!!!!!!. They are installed in the car.​ SEE PICS!! The carpets are in really nice condition, I shampooed them. I have an extra set of door panels, that I will include. The headliner (grey cloth material needs to be replaced) The material on the sunroof came off, which I heard is very common.​ Please keep in mind, the car is 18 years old, so it will have the "normal dings​ & minor dents"​, etc as expected for a car that old............This is a used 18 year old car..... ​ ​As I mentioned, a tree branch fell on the front windshield and there is some roof damage, I was told is repairable, but I encourage you to be the judge or bring a professional. As I mentioned, this is a "PROJECT CAR" and will require some work, but once completed, you will have a nice car. Or as I mentioned, this would be an excellent PARTS CAR!!! Part it out ...and make some money!!! Or use this car to fix up your CLK. The body has no rust or rust holes on it. It's solid car. Unlike some CLK's I've seen. I think with some bodywork and a new paint job this car will look great. Sometimes pictures make cars look better than what they are in person, I encourage you to check it out in person. Keep in mind, its an 18 year old car!! ​Tires and rims in good shape.​ Newer aftermarket radio, works good The car runs and drives! ​I have an extra pair of door panels that I will include.​ The battery is only/about 8 months old. This vehicle has been off the road for over a year......and needs to be fully checked out by a mechanic, etc., so my answer is NO.....THIS VEHICLE MUST BE TOWED!! I would not recommend taking any chances, be safe have it towed.....
