1979 Lincoln Continental for sale. Runs and drives with only 44,000 original miles (original milage notated on the title). Interior is in excellent condition. Rust free body. Some light hail damage from the 1980's most noticeable on chrome accents. Vehicle production date of November 1st 1978, passed on from father to son before sitting in storage for 12 years before I bought it in January 2016. Since purchasing the car has had a remanufactured carburetor installed, new distributor rotor and cap, new plugs and wires, new oil pan and has been straight-piped to the muffler after removing catalytic converters that were glowing red hot. Currently runs and drives great, no issues starting even in the winter weather. Mechanically sound. Will need new vinyl top and a paint job at some point as far as cosmetics go. Also will need new fuel tank and sender unit (currently always reads as empty). Hood ornament is in glove box. Awesome car to own and drive, looking to let someone else have the opportunity to experience this wonderful classic car!
