Vehicle Detail

This is a 1957 Chevy BelAir "Survivor" at it's best. It is the finned late 50's that everyone dreams of having at a price that won't break the bank. Take a good look at the pictures. Turquoise is believed to be the most favored color for the BelAir. The paint and sheet metal on this car is believed to be all original and non-rusted. The roof was repainted at sometime in it's life and shows some age. The rest of the car is so nice, a repaint of the roof will make it top shelf. I have enclosed up close pictures of the paint where it meets the chrome and it is perfect, bright, and lustrous. Yes, the car is a four door, but it's a BelAir at it's best. Of course it has the original 283 cubic engine with automatic transmission. The interior was still together and usable, but the foam padding was dry and uncomfortable. I changed interior to match the original, and it looks gorgeous. When you look at the dashboard and steering wheel, you are looking at a 61 year old dash without touching it. Very impressive. All the gauges work, even the original tube type radio. For your observation, I have included pictures of the floors while the seats were out. This way you can see the turquoise color and original panels. Also, inside the trunk there are pictures with and without the mat. Under the hood it has not even been detailed, just hosed off. The inner fenders are very nice with original paint as well as the radiator supports. There is also the original 283 engine with it's proper air cleaner and valve covers. An electric fuel pump has been added for easy starting when sitting. The driver window has a crack in it and can be changed, although it is still functional. Most of the chrome is 61 years old and in good shape. A few of the chrome pieces were changed out for new. Overall, this "Survivor Class" 1957 Chevy BelAir is ready to go for you and your family to enjoy. Why spend time and money fixing up a car when you can enjoy this car today. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. My Ebay feedback is excellent. Happy bidding on this rare opportunity to own a finned 57 Chevy reasonably. I have kept the reserve at a very reasonable price and the buy-it-now option for $15,000. Winning bidder must pay a $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours. The remaining balance is to be paid by bank wire, certified check, or cash within 7 days of auction end. Buyer is responsible for pick up or transportation. With notification, you can have the car inspected. I encourage you come and inspect the car. This is how confident I am that you are going to love it.
