Vehicle Detail
for sale is a very custom 55 Chevy bel air 2 door. good running mild 327 with Edelbrock intake and quadrajet carb. good radiator runs cool even in traffic. turbo 350 auto trans shifts good works fine. 10 bolt rear axle with highway gear ratio works good no noises. dual exhaust with Thrush welded mufflers sounds great and not to loud. power breaks stop on a dime. power rack steering. air ride suspension on all four corners with 2 switches works as it should. aluminum American racing rims with good rubber. has newer cd ipod usb radio with 4 interior speakers and two 12 inch sub woofers and amp hidden in trunk sounds great. custom interior with 5 seat belts I put 3 child car seats in back without a problem. this car was built in early 90s by a previous owner I have had the car for around 5 years. The only work I have done to the car was install head unit and oil changes. I will describe the body and modifications to the best of my knowledge. dale Jeritt metallic red paint with ghost flames. Custom 54 Chevy style grille with real teeth. Frenched headlights. custom fender vents with fins. 59 olds taillights. Frenched rear antenna. rear roll pan bumper with exhaust cutouts ( you can mount original rear bumper ends which come with car I liked it better without so I took them off). gas fill door from donor car. 52 Chevy rear windshield. shaved door handles with poppers (remotes need batteries). power windows. I don't believe the paint is original from the early 90s but is not recent either. The paint shines great but has plenty of chips and cracks and other imperfections definitely showing wear. I'm sure their is some filler or glass in car due to all the custom modifications. frame rails and floors are good. car is running and driving and currently on the road in NYS. I put 100-300 miles on it a year mainly taking my family of 5 to cruise nights, dinner, and the beach. car is easy to drive my wife can drive it when needed. if you are looking for a bone stock tri-five this might not be the car for you as it would take some work to put back to stock, but I'm sure it is possible. Buy it drive it as is, hot rod it, or add your own custom touches. only reason I am selling is I need a new work truck 1 ton crew cab (might be interested in trades only for truck). I have lots more pictures of everything and 3 videos email me I should be able to send them through email. car is sold as is local pickup I will assist in loading on a trailer if needed. The car has a transferable NYS registration, as NY does not give titles to cars older than 1975. If your state does give titles to old cars they will give you one. if you are not sure about this google it. mileage is estimated it is unknown.
