87 GSXR 1100 5800 original miles, original owner. purchased at Suzuki of Mineola. Bike starts and runs, no issues, first video is a cold start. Second video is just to show the bike on the road. Windscreen, seat, pipe, carbs are not original to the bike. Everything else is. All the Fairing parts are original to the bike. Vance & Hines pipe installed shortly ofter purchase in 87. Mikuni flat-slide carbs done at the same time. I have: OEM set of carbs, EXTRA OEM front cowling ( the one on the bike suffered some cracking in spots form idiotic people, ironically, all while not even being ridden), also have the suzuki sticker for the cowling, will need a clear coat once intalled, OEM white Seat (seat on there is a Corbin, extremely comfortable). Bike was never in any type of accident, foot pegs are all original without any type of road rash. dent in gas tank was put there by my little brother who attempted to move it 2 weeks after I got it, he couldn't hold it up and the gas tank landed on the corner of a car bumper, luckily!? depending on how you look at it. Between the last 2 summers, I've changed the following: Bernett clutch installed by suzuki of mineola July 2017 (old plates were just that, old) Oil Metzler tires front and back Brakes Inspected/insured/registered. Mileage may go up, I still ride it on occasion, and if I don't get a respectable price, I will continue to ride it on occasion.Please feel free to ask any questions. Welcome to come take a look if you are close by. Bike runs well, can it run better, Yes, I don't have the time, or want to spend the money re-jetting and getting the carbs dialed in. I spoke to the mechanic at Suzuki, it could be a quick process, but can also be drawn out getting the fuel/air mixture perfect, dialing in the jets, etc.( if you let off the gas quick, it tends to backfire, other than that runs great!). You can pick it up and ride it home. Pickup/inspection welcomed. I don't know of any shippers, but will be glad to assist in any way possible. reads pickup only on my ad, but if you make the arrangements, will ship no problem. She's a Beautiful Bike, tough to let go. Aside form the Cowling cracks, the rest of the fairing is in pretty good shape. I used PVC glue to fix the cowling, works great and has an ultra strong bond. I'm sure you can pick up many newer bikes for the same price or less, go for it! These bikes are special, way ahead of their time, simply classic (31 years old), bike gets looks and complements every time I take her out, even though it's had better days cosmetically, people just fall in love with the look, can't blame them, it's an amazing looking design. The bike is sound, cosmetics can be fixed easily, so please don't waste your time making silly offers. Unlike new things losing value, old things usually gain in value! Lots of luck, Happy Riding!
