1966 Jaguar E-type 2 + 2 Coupe. Has been rebuilt/restored about 5 years ago and driven approximately 5,000 miles since. Car runs and drives great and is an attention-getter wherever you go. If you have wanted an E-type or an early Cobra and found that they are extremely expensive, this could be your chance for something unique at a lot less $$$. Engine transmission is an early Mustang 289/C4-3 speed auto. Engine has been completely rebuilt with mild modifications including Comp-268 degree hyd. cam, Edelbrock intake with Holley 600 cfm carb. Trans has been rebuilt with B & M internal parts. Flexplate and converter are from TCI. Exhaust headers have been custom-made and feed into one common muffler under the car, they end in two original type resonators. All chrome on the car has been replated and looks great. Brakes have been completely rebuilt, all new U joints and drive shaft and half shafts. All assemblies have been balanced. Car has original spare and copper hammer for wheel removal. Orginal spare & wheel are in the trunk. Wheels are new Dayton wires with new knock-offs, tires are 205/70 Dunlops. Interior is mostly original and very presentable. Seat bases have been recovered in black vinyl. Windshield and glass is believed to be original and shows some age. This car has been driven in the summer only the last 4-5 years and shows some usage. There are a few minor chips, but overall a beautiful E-type.This car has no air conditioning, no heater, and the 3 windshield wipers remain on the car although they are inoperable.
