Never dynoed but similarly modified 12 valves are at 400hp/900ftlb. no blow by and zero/near zero shaft play in the turbo Never gotten below 13mpg towing, 17mpg without a load is not unusual. A lot of power even from idle RPM. The truck sounds like a semi, and if loud bothers you you may want to install a muffler. Of course these old dodge trucks have their issues, the steering on this one is as good as any you will find. I replaced 90% of the front end as it was due, no wobbles and tracks straight up to 80mph. I noticed when I used synthetic 5w40 minor oil leaks sprung up from the front main seal and the o ring where the p pump meets the block. I bought the parts from cummins for the job which is about $400 but when I switched to 15w40 w/ stabilizer the leak went away. Most cummins do leak a bit of oil. The cruise control doesnt work, I haven't troubleshooted but my guess is its a vacuum issue. The body has one dent on the tailgate from a trailer. There is some rust in the bed (not exterior) and tailgate. rear window latch is broken but still opens and shuts as it should. This truck is reliable and as capable as any new 60k+ truck, even fuel economy.
