Fantastic, fun to ride Sidecar rig. Tons of money spent to refit and modernize this vehicle. Wiring was redone as was new piston rings, engine bearings, rear end ratio was changed. new carburators. lots of German parts added as well as period correct BMW badging. There are thousands of these in use by the PLA {Chinese Army} and very common on the streets in Bejing and outlying areas. These bikes are very robust and easy to work on. Electric start as well as kick starter. EVEN HAS REVERSE!!! THIS IS A RUNNING, DRIVING, READY TO GO BIKE IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. IT IS NOT A PROJECT!! JUST HIT THE GAS AND GO!!It is registered in California but never titled. I have original importation paperwork and MSO it is technically new but cannot be sold as such. I have owned it 10 years and it is a blast. People stop you and want to take pictures and questions galore.
