Here is a extremely nice original Honda CB550 Four in excellent condition for a 43 year old machine. First lets start with the paint on the motorcycle. The motorcycle still retains all of its original paint on the tank, frame and side covers. It has never been touched up or repainted anywhere at all. Even has the original warning label on the top of the tank. All of the original chrome trim is still on the tank as well. There is a tiny little tank ding on the right side. The seat is still the original seat and is in fantastic condition once again. All of the trim is also still on the seat. The mufflers are 100% original and have no rust at all, almost pristine perfect. The rear shocks are still original to the bike. The front and rear fenders are still in original chrome. The wheels and spokes are in original chrome as well. The rims look good still and the spokes have lost their luster over the years but still original. All of the gauges work and they are original to the motorcycle. The bike has 9,723 original miles since 1975. Thats around 243 miles a year since 1975. I have replaced only the chain and front sprocket on the motorcycle so the RPM drops a bit on the freeway. The motorcycle still retains its yellow paint on bolt heads from the factory. Everything is original except the chain, grips, tires and sprocket. Everything works on the motorcycle, headlight, brake light, turn signals and the amazing turn signal alarm which most bikes dont have anymore on them. I have had all the carbs synced together and she fires right up and runs incredible. This is a amazing motorcycle, simply incredible time capsule. You can jump on this bike and ride it to Canada and back without a worry. Come see it for yourself and be the judge. I have the title (in my name) and it has current CA registration. I am the 3rd owner of this incredible time capsule. I have the title in my name and its current registration in CA. Under the seat is the original tools and owners manual. Here is my buyers criteria. If you want this to buy and turn into a Cafe racer, find another bike. Its criminal to destroy it that way. If you want to keep it this way, your the right buyer.
