Truck/ chassis/ body has just over 149,000 miles, new powertrain has about 110,000 Yes, you can buy this solid, excellent running Defender 90 right now for $16,500 ( or very near offer) *with* a recently installed 300Tdi engine and matching long-bellhousing R380 5 speed transmission already installed. ONTO The Defender! ---- It has the 300Tdi . R380 5 speed. Very little to zero rust, especially in the places most of them rust. Any cheaper truck than this one will be ugly underneath - Mine is not! Engine / transmission have no leaks, run great, have a lot of power and do not overheat. Ready to drive anywhere, right now. Tires are in good condition, but an odd military-type tread. Working snorkel. Long-travel shock absorbers. Tube-type rear step bumpers. NEW front seats. Starts/runs/drives/stops just fine. Onto the problems : PROBLEMS: Dents and scratches throughout - Please view photos. Some cosmetic issues , torn or missing floor mats, dirty dashboard plastics, difficult to wind up drivers side window. Interior floor covering a bit shabby. Window felts worn. Drivers side window difficult going up/ down. There is a bit of a wobble in the steering around 45 MPG, disappears over 50 MPH - Probably a tire out of balance. Heater blower motor does not blow. Heater does work, with forced air from Defender rolling. That is really it! Majority of complaints are cosmetic, and this should not be too much of a concern considering the price of this Defender.
