Vehicle Detail
1970 Honda CB450 in the original Candy Blue Green color! The CB450K3 was the first USA model with a front disc brake and 19" front wheel. Other new features included a larger tail light, hinged gas cap, black finished handlebar switches, full rubber cushioned instruments and restyled mufflers. The headlight shell and upper fork brackets were painted to match the tank and side cover color. In 1970 Honda color choices on various models also began to expand but unfortunately, the original candy red and candy gold finishes were extremely vulnerable to sun fade. The candy blue Honda used is remarkably stable. The CB450K3 was the last model to include significant engineering as well as styling changes. Most modifications through the CB450K7 were minor and cosmetic only. The serial number began with CB450-40000001. This is a beautiful example of an un-restored 1970 Honda CB450. We acquired this motorcycle from the son of the original owner who had passed away. The son had a choice of keeping this bike and restoring it or keeping his fathers original Jaguar. He chose the Jag! The bike looks beautiful and is a very nice example of an original 1970's Honda. The bike starts, stops and rides like it should. The paint is virtually flawless and we took the time to polish the engine cases and covers to make the bike shine better than new. We cleaned the carburetors, set the valves and timing and of course changed the oil. The vintage looking tires are in good to great shape and show only minor wear. Take a close look at this bike and you will see the beauty shine thru! Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
