Relisted! Lowered Reserve and BIN! Rare, second year for the Tacoma! This black beauty has the desirable combination of the 2.7L I4 with the 5 speed manual for good fuel economy and pep. Engine runs with no hiccups and transmission shifts smoothly throughout the gears. All fluids (engine, tranny, rear-end) have been changed 200 miles ago. No drips and thermostat holds cool even in the hottest summer. AC is icy cold and all power options (including cruise control, power locks, power windows) and lights work flawlessly. Paint is freshened original (faded on roof) and has a few small dings (larger one on tailgate and rear bumper) but overall condition is remarkable. Wheels are period correct American Racing Venturas sporting older 31x10.5 BF Goodrich T/As. Still decent tread and minimal highway noise then you'd expect. 4x4 hubs and transfer case in great shape although I've never off-roaded this truck in the 5 years I've owned it. Inside looks good as well with no major stains or tears except on a rip on the drivers side seat. Stereo is an upgraded Pioneer unit with corresponding speakers (including tweeters from a 4Runner) all professionally installed. System includes Bluetooth connection, CD, AUX, and USB connection that allows control (and charging) of Ipod etc. through the unit. Engine has new plugs and wires, new head gasket, and K&N CAI and filter. Check Engine light is on but this is the O2 sensor according to my mechanic and is an easy fix. I have owned and loved this truck for 5 years but I need to let her go with a new baby on the way. Sale also includes custom California car cover.
