Vehicle Detail

1970 Honda CT 70, candy sapphire blue. Relisting due to non payment by last buyer! 85cc upgrade, 3 speed, manual clutch. Completely rebuilt engine with 85cc upgrade, 3 speed manual clutch. Frame # CT70-14583 Engine # CT70E 14584 Vin # CT7014583 Motor has new cylinder, head, piston, rings, and clip, new intake, new air filter, air filter box, carb boot, rebuilt carb, new jets, needles, all new gaskets and seals, new gas lines, tank was flushed. Also has new stator/magneto assbly, points and condensor, plug, wire, and coil. Also upgraded to a 3 speed manual clutch, brand new clutch clutch springs and cable. Fresh oil change. New levers, tail light lens, headlight, new seat foam, seat cover, new brakes, new tires and tubes. New professionally done sapphire blue paint with multi - colored metal flake, Beautiful in the sun, have to see to appreciate. New decals. The bike was a complete, solid, nice running machine when purchased. It was completely disassembled, every part cleaned, refurbished, repainted or replaced. All new bearings and seals installed during reassembly, front forks rebuilt, new boots, new grips, and cables. All nuts and bolts were either cleaned and polished, but most were replaced with new. It was meticulously reassembled, all axles and bearings greased and lubed. Has original tool kit and 2 original keys. Battery was new last year, not sure if it's holding a charge, however it's not needed to run. All the lights, brake lights, indicator lights and horn are working. Starts easily, idles well, runs great. I purchased this off an elderly farmer who owned it for 35 + years. Title has been lost to the ages but can be had in any state for varying degrees of ease and fees. I will provide a legal bill of sale. If you look closely there is a minor dent in the frame and the front fender and exhaust shield, chrome is not perfect (light patina)on the tail light, and some small chips in the paint. Wherever I could I retained the original parts even if not 100% perfect, for replacement parts I used NOS or quality reproductions. While not a flawless museum piece, It is however nicer than 95% of the CT's I see out there, and can be absolutely perfect with little work. An outstanding collector piece as it is, and nicer than a lot of bikes I've seen in museums. It is a solid 8/10 by my rigid standards. I will not ship, do not ask. I will however make any reasonable effort to assist the shipper of your choice. Once paid for I can store indoors for up to 30 days. Do not bid if you cannot or will not pay. I will report you and Ebay will ban you. Ask any questions, Look at the pics closely, come and see it in person if you are local. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit due at auction's end by PayPal, balance due within 3 days by PayPal or cash. No exceptions. I am an honest seller, check my rating. I have restored and sold hundreds of motorcycles over the years, dozens on Ebay to collectors and museums. I will provide a professional transaction and I expect the same.
