I purchased this truck in September of 2011 locally. It had about 145,000 miles on the truck but the local owner had just swapped in another motor from a wrecked truck that had 65,000 miles on it. So although the truck currently has 215879 miles on it the motor would have 135,879 on it. It is a 2005 F150 supercab with a rare heavy duty payload package which bumps its GVWR to 8200#. The trucks base curb weight is 5413#. That means you can haul up to 2787#'s of payload. That is about 1250# more pounds than a similarly equipped standard F150. It fills the void for someone wanting to haul more than a F150 but doesn't want or need a F250. Ford accomplishes this by thickening the frame rails, adding 4.10 gear ratio, 7 lug wheels, heavier front spindles, upgraded springs, heavier rear axles and other upgrades. It has been a great truck for me but I am ready to pass it on to a new owner. I am currently still driving it so the mileage will increase till it is sold. It is dirty being mid winter but it cleans up nicely and has no rust anywhere. I have all receipts for all the work that has been done during my ownership. The truck cleans up nice with only a few tiny imperfections. The only problems the truck has is the drivers seat has a small separation as shown. For the drivers door lock button you have to open the door wide or pull it almost closed for it to work.
