Lovingly restored to the highest standard, this motorcycle not only looks like it rode right out of the showroom, it starts immediately, accelerates briskly and smoothly right up to its 9,500 RPM redline, shifts easily through its five gears and cruises effortlessly at any speed, with no hesitation, bucking or stalling. It's a Honda, fire it up and drive it anywhere without worry. Frame: the frame has never been rusted bent or broken, and has only been refinished in the very few spots where there were some scratches and light rust. The original miles were about 20,000 and the bike was clearly never in an accident, abused or neglected in any way. Engine/Transmission: original to the bike engine with compression of 150 psi on both cylinders, with no leaks so the engine was not disassembled. It was cleaned and polished thoroughly to restore the original finishes, the oil was changed and the oil filter and oil pump screen cleaned and new gaskets and updated screws installed on all of the side covers. New aftermarket mufflers were installed. The valves and the cam chain were adjusted. A new drive chain was installed and the clutch was adjusted. Fuel system: the carburetors were disassembled completely and ultrasonically cleaned, then rebuilt with all new internal parts and seals. The carbs were jetted to provide the ideal fuel mixture ratio for the new Honda OEM air filters and the exhaust. The interior of the fuel tank was cleaned of all fuel varnish and minor rust and a new petcock, gas cap gasket and fuel lines installed. The fuel tank was NOT treated with any type of coating. Electrical: new spark plugs, wires and caps, coils, PAMCO electronic ignition, Rick's high output stator and voltage regulator. All connections in wiring harness checked cleaned and repaired where necessary. New negative battery cable and Interstate battery Suspension: front works rebuilt with new seals, steering head bearings upgraded with AllBalls tapered bearings, new reproduction OEM style rear shocks Controls: new clutch, brake, throttle, tachometer, speedometer cables. New NOS speedometer and tachometer installed. New hand grips and foot pegs. Tires and brakes: new tires and new brake shoes, front and rear Paint: professionally repainted in the original colors to a very high standard. Graphics painted as originally done, NOT decals
