*****Relisting due to a non paying buyer....... PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE GOING TO GO THROUGH WITH THE SALE>>>>>>>> This listing is for a 04 Audi S4 Automatic with 142k miles that needs engine work. I purchased this vehicle in hopes of fixing it to flip but its been sitting for a while and I kinda lost interest. I bought the vehicle from a auction in Louisville, KY and it used to starts and run but it was rough. I spent a little time on the car trying to diagnose the problem. So after I scanned it there were a few misfire and cam codes present. I replaced the pass side cam sensor and it didn't make it any better. I decided to take apart that side of the motor to see what the issue was. Upon removing the intake, valve cover and timing chain cover on the pass side I noticed that the cams were out of time. Then I removed the driver side valve cover and discovered that it had a new intake cam adjuster and control body installed. So my conclusion is that the previous owner pulled the motor and replaced the chains and the driver side adjuster and control body because they had issues on that one side only. When they finished replacing the very expensive adjuster and control body ($1800) and drove it the other side jumped time and they just gave up. I have a used adjuster that I can include with the car, if the winner wants it at no cost.. The car seems to have had a great previous owner that took good care of it before the very common timing issue. The car does have rock chips and normal scratches from normal use. The driver side fender had a small dent on the fender lip that could be fixed with PDR and there are some scratched on the passenger side fender lip. The interior is in good shape and has a everything intact except the dash coin tray and the drink holder. The leather seems to be in good shape as well. Wheels look good and the tires are in ok shape. Just remember please feel free to ask for more pics or any question that you might have. I have a CLEAN KY title in hand that is ready to go. ~~~~Car does have aftermarket billet aluminum poly engine mounts, new cost is around $350 bucks.
