RARE!!! TRUE BARN FIND...(AZ.CARPORT) This one owner GMC 1/2 ton pickup has been owned by the original buyer in Tucson ,AZ. since it was sold to him in Nov. 1964. Absolutely UNADULTERED original truck Original 1965 Arizona (Black & White ) title Original Keys / Original owners manual Original Wheels / dog dish hubcaps included not on truck as the tires were old & flat. This truck has the perfect paint"PATINA" for the popular "RAT ROD" look . 305-V6 / 4 speed transmission This is a rear leaf spring truck- not rear coil springs. 117,325 miles This truck had a aluminum camper shell from new on it until a few days ago. The bed in this truck is in amazing condition. NO DENTS in the sides/ wheel tubs & front panel. No dents / bows or bends in the tailgate. NEVER used as a work truck. There is another secondary original behind the seat fuel tank mounted in the front of the truck bed ,so 2 gas tanks. The original wood in the bed floor is in great condition. The body is very, very straight with the exception of a small dent on the driver side roof. There is however some typical rust in the lower front fenders from the water drain holes being clogged with tree debris from sitting for many years. The patch panels for this repair are sold thru LMC and other restoration places. Other than that the truck is very much AZ. rust free. The interior is all original / uncut dashboard has all the original knobs / switches/ AM radio / guages in excellent condition .Even the original glove box insert is still there in great shape. All interior / exterior chrome handles are near perfect. This is the stuff that "nickels & dimes " you to death in a restoration. The original seat will need to be upholstered. Still has the original rubber floor mats in great shape. The windshield & gasket have been replaced a few years ago Original SS wiper arms there & perfect. Original antenna perfect. The bad : The truck has been sitting for many years. The battery went bad and the owner just gave up on starting it a few times a month. ( He's now 85years old) The motor is free / not seized up. . It will need to have the fuel tank cleaned out & the fuel lines / carb cleaned to get her running.
