Hello, up for sale is my 1953 Ford Suncrest Sunliner convertible. This car is a really nice driver. The convertible top is power and was rebuilt by the previous owner and works well (It looks pretty new but I found one small pin hole on the l/r side, see pic). It was retro fitted with a 351, I was told it is a 1969 mustang engine and trans. Looks like a GM tilt steering column. The rest of the car looks original. Since I have owned it I had the slave valve on the steering rebuilt ($600)and the trans resealed for some leaks ($310). The paint is in good condition but has a couple chips from usage. The chrome /stainless is in good condition except the l/r corner of the bumper has a scrape in the chrome but not dented, (see pic). The car is not perfect but you wont be afraid to drive it either. Looking at the carpet it might of had a floor shifter at one point but I'm really not sure or the carpet might of been from a stick car (has a cut in the carpet on the hump). The floors and frame all look solid with undercoating on them but I cant find any rust. The gas tank looks new. The former owner also added a second fuel pump (electric) so you don't have to "pump" the gas peddle a bunch of times to start. I also have a book of receipts from the last owner, The guy was very meticulous with his records. The car runs and drives great, In fact last winter I used it as a daily driver. I cant get gas without someone wanting to talk to me about it or take a pic. I've owned it now for about a year and a half.
