Relisted with lower reserve: Up for sale is my 2007 Triple Black manual 911 Porsche Convertible (997). I've owned this gem for over a year and have put much love into it (see list of maintenance items below). I daily drive the car and have put approximately 8,000 miles on it. Mechanically the car has been fantastic showing no catastrophic symptoms of the infamous IMS bearing failure or bore scoring smoke. The car runs great, shifts great and is a pleasure to drive. The odometer currently shows 91,XXX miles. Regarding paint, the car has some rock chips and could use some touch up and new rock guard laminates. Additionally the front bumper was recently refinished and a deep polish would bring out the depth even more. Let me know if you have any questions and I can make the responses public. The valet drivers hit the front bumper while parking the car…so no signs of major collisions. Here is the EXACT description on CARFAX: 10/21/2014 Florida Damage Report, Accident reported, Vehicle involved in a sideswipe collision Involving right front impact. It hit a parked motor vehicle, Right front primarily damaged, Minor damage reported. (Minor damage is usually cosmetic, including dents or scratches to the vehicle body. Modifications: Besides the wheels, the car has no modifications, chips or craziness. The car is tastefully conservative, and never ragged on or abused. Recommended items: 1) The 911 suffers from very poor plastic interior parts. (like any german car!) I would suggest respraying the center console as it came with scratches and signs of wear2) Driver side door armrest needs to be replaced3) I would recommend changing the positive batter cable in the future as well Optional recommendation: 1) H&R lowering springs to close the gap on the Turbo wheels 2) Clear side markersOverall 997’s are great cars for the money and this one has been a solid daily driver for me.
